QUIZ NIGHT 2022
Our quiz, in aid of Nutley Bowling Club funds, had been an annual event until it was side lined in 2020 due to the covid pandemic.
So for the first time in 3 years we were very pleased to welcome 14 teams to participate in our quiz on 1st October for a very enjoyable, sociable evening pitting our knowledge against our regular quiz master Mike Evans. The format of the evening consisted of 8 rounds, each containing 10 general knowledge questions. During the evening each team had the additional challenge of 2 marathons.
Participants were asked to bring their own drink and glasses, leaving the bowls club to provide sandwiches at the half time interval.
The raffle was also well supported. Each team’s progress was clearly shown on the master scoreboard. The scores were very close until the last few rounds when the winner emerged with a team name of 3 Generations.
The event was held in the Nutley War Memorial Hall which had recently had a new sound system installed which enabled everyone to hear all questions clearly.
Our thanks go to those who helped in any way on the night, setting up the hall, providing sandwiches, prizes, dealing with score board and clearing up.
We would like to thank the teams for their generous support for such an enjoyable evening.
